Another Year

So hard to believe that another year has gone by since I posted last. What has happened in a year...so much that is why I should be posting more often. A few highlights:

Abigail started Middle School and went to her first school dance. She has had many concerts both vocal and instrumental, music is something Abigail really enjoys. She has played volleyball, softball, and basketball. She finally got her first cell phone and managed to text over 2,000 texts in one month. Ethan is a big third grader and loves sports. He has played football, basketball, and baseball. Ethan also ran his first 5K this summer coming in at 28 minutes. He loves school and has many friends. Brian continues to participate in triathlons and marathons. His hobbies keep us very busy. I am still teaching 1st grade in WDM. A new adventure for me this year is co leading PowerLife for Abigail's confirmation class. As a family we went on several small vacations this past year. The picture in this post is from our trip to the Bahamas. We went out to Rose Island for a day and our boat was just docking and this building caught my eye. When I am stressed or feeling overwhelmed it helps to think back on this day. It was gorgeous and so serene, we are truly blessed as a family. I am so grateful to be able to share special times with my kids and Brian. Memories can never be taken away.
